Kent describes what he calls augmented coding, where he gives the work over to an agent and finds the practices that keep it honest. The three discuss what the tools do well, where they waste a day, and what the shift means for how software gets built.
Kent Beck has written software for more than forty years. He created Extreme Programming, helped make Test-Driven Development common practice, and now works on AI-assisted coding. He teaches, consults, speaks, and writes about it in his newsletter, Tidy First.
