An engineer does a lot more than just write code here at Honeycomb. Our engineers research problems, learn from customers, collaborate across design and product management teams, observe user and system behaviors, and participate in the on-call rotation. We strongly believe that software works better when engineers own the whole lifecycle of building for our customers.

Product & Design

Outcomes, outcomes, outcomes. We emphasize outcomes on the product team, and we aim to bring value to our customers early and often. We take a lightweight approach to product development, but our toolboxes are deep. The user experience is paramount here at Honeycomb, so we involve our customers and bring their feedback into every decision we make. Product & design includes product designers, visual designers, and UX researchers. We ship our work iteratively through research, ideation, wireframing, prototyping, and design.

Data-driven and customer-obsessed are probably the best ways to describe our marketing team. We’re a passionate group of folks specializing in communications, product marketing, developer relations, community, demand generation, field events, and sales development. We love experimenting—trying new things is the best! We don’t shy away from fresh ideas and driving impact at scale in both product-led growth and enterprise sales motions. We produce great content aimed to help users hone their skills and take their observability game to the next level.

Customer Success

Our customer success team guides customers on their journey with Honeycomb and observability. We partner closely with our customers to understand their technical and business goals and draw on Honeycomb's collective resources to achieve them. The team is currently comprised of technical customer success managers, customer architects, support engineers, and product training specialists.
