Building Observability Metrics With OpenTelemetry
OpenTelemetry provided trace data stability earlier this year. Now, project contributors are enhancing metrics support in OpenTelemetry. This means the OpenTelemetry data model and components, including the Collector and language libraries (APIs and SDKs), are being extended. Full interoperability with Prometheus, a core pillar of metrics support with OpenTelemetry, is also in development.
